Hello Folks,
Went vacationing to San Diego a few weeks ago, and dropped my new HTC 10 in several inches of salt water for a few seconds. In a word, death.
On this lovely little SD card...

...are some precious moments with family that I'd rather not lose if there's anything I can do about it.
I read this page here...

...and gave myself a quick education of what, basically, is involved.
The SD card won't mount on my Mac, as expected, but I can see those partition names by other means (using Disk Drill, for instance). I am guessing that the card is intact. It's now a matter of getting the encryption key and decrypting the data on it. Easy peazy - NOT.
I do have the motherboard of the phone, seen here...

Anyway that anyone can get the key off of the memory on that motherboard?
I know there likely is a way, if that memory is also intact, but with expensive tools and labor.
Even so, I'd like some advice on where I might go to get that sort of work done when I'm ready to pursue it.
Meanwhile, both card and motherboard sit in a protective anti-static bag, in hopes of a future miracle.
Thanks,
-Tony
