Can Law Enforcement Subpeona Your Fingerprint From Google?

I got in a debate with a coworker about the use of fingerprint sensors on our phones. He said he refuses to use it as law enforcement could potentially subpoena Google for your fingerprint if suspected of a crime. (I don't think it's even sent to Google, but who knows?)

He also said if pulled over, law enforcement can force you to unlock it with fingerprint because your fingerprint is considered physical property in the US, but they can't force you to unlock it if it's a PIN because it's intellectual property.

I don't worry too much about these things because I generally obey the law lol. But I was curious if there were any thoughts on this?
