You have to flash supersu yourself, since i couldn't get it to reliably stick. 2.62 worked for me.
I'm unsure about the sensor firmware (for working LED), you may or may not have to flash it again.
I had busybox in /system/xbin, but again, unsure if it sticks.
Short howto:
- Have TWRP recovery, backup was made and tested with 3.0.2-r3
- download rar file off mega, extract somewhere, obtain folder "MPD24.107-70"
- copy said folder into your Moto X Play /TWRP/BACKUPS/{DEVICECODE}/ folder, you can do this while in TWRP
- use RESTORE, select the MPD24.107-70 you just copied in
- do a factory reset just to be on the safe side
- if your Moto X Play hangs on first reboot, force-restart it (hold power), it works for me on second try
