I am running stock rom and launcher, and my phone is unrooted, but before it was the same on Nova launcher and google launcher. I even tried a factory reset without backing anything up, then installing just the widgets before anything else, to try to get to the root of this.
Sometimes after a day or so, and sometimes after only a few hours, all ( I use three) third party widgets stop updating/refreshing, showing old data.
(a news widget (nu.nl) and two rain widgets (buienradar and buienalarm))
-Ignoring battery optimizations for those apps/widgets doesn't help.
-Changing from wifi to only use mobile data doesn't help.
-Factory reset didn't help.
-Clearing cache and/or rebooting, or removing and reinstalling the widget helps for a few hours.
Is anyone else experiencing this and/or have a solution to try?
