Hello! Happy to have learned of this hub from a couple friends!
I bought a new, fresh in box Galaxy S7 from an acquaintance who was a bit ignorant regarding the marrying to his gmail account. He says as last resort he'll give me his credentials for a second so I can access phone and then change main user to me but not sure the timeline of that (he's in europe now) and wondering if there is anything I can do I on my own.
The neat router unplug method on the web and from some of you here no longer works as Samsung has allegedly patched.
I'd love to unlock but I currently can only get a few clicks in until the gmail sign in nag shuns me. I've tried everything on the web including: reset and google copy/SHARE, google fwd/back, everything youtube and sites like yours advise but it seems like my dilbert friend has updated firmware to the latest which has the fix.
Is there anything I can do? I only bought it to use with a Gear VR and not even going to use it as a phone with carrier... :-\
Thanks in advance for any advice!!!
