Cat S60 (Bullitt mobile) support?

I get that this phone is highly niche, very new, and there have probably only been a couple thousand sold so far. But this phone has a switch in the dev settings to allow unlocking of the bootloader... how much easier can it possibly get to modify a phone unless it came with an unlocked bootloader to begin with?

I really just want root to support passive global ad blocking and a few other apps that you simply can't get without root.
